Look what we found: Lina Plioplyte and Ari Seth Cohen's trailer for Advanced Style! These bright lights of beauty and self-expression left me feeling hungry for color and less worried about the undeniable inevitability of aging. Their giddy pursuit of living life and looking AMAZING while at it is completely contagious. Rumor has it the film will be out by the end of the summer. Can you imagine what treasures their closets hold?

THE AMERICANS

In the spirit of the 4th of July, I've decided to post some of my favorite iconic photographs by Robert Frank and his body of work titled " The Americans." His images though taken in the 1950's are still as relevant today as they were back then. Provocative and full of symbolism, he captured our culture from his point of view and what he thought it meant to be American. Can you identify with these images?
